Patrizia Sangalli assists both Italian and international companies in commercial and corporate matters, specifically mergers and acquisitions (M&A), drafting international agreements, international commercial litigation, arbitration ad hoc, ICC, UNCITRAL, CAM and LCIA transactions. Patrizia Sangalli’s practice includes advising on international commercial arbitration and litigation in several continental and common law jurisdictions. She handles Italian and international litigation in various commercial, corporate and construction fields and is admitted pleading before all Italian tribunals and courts of appeal, including the highest Court of Cassation. She is admitted to the Milan and Madrid Bar. She actively works on Polish matters and transactions.

Ms. Sangalli has years of experience acting as counsel in all forms of international arbitration, whether ad hoc, using UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules or institutional rules, including those of the ICC. In addition to be the founding partner of SDG & Partners, she has been working for large international legal firms.

She graduated both in Milan, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and Madrid, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She attended ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for Central & Eastern Europe in 2014-2015, and she is FCIArb of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 2016. She is member of Arbit, Vice Chairman of the Italian Chapter of the Club Español del Arbitraje (CEA), and member of the Polish-Ukrainian Chapter of the CEA.

She was appointed as arbitrator by the National and International Arbitration Chamber of Milan. She acted as counsel in many arbitrations under ICC Rules, representing a major Italian construction company, or concerning disputes arising out of M&A agreements, price adjustment, or an investment in Poland, under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, or concerning the termination of a long-term lease agreement of a Hotel facility in Nosy Be (Madagascar), under the ICC Rules.

She assisted also in numerous M&A deals for an Italian tour operator, for investment banking advisors, and a Japanese Company, leader and manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers.

Ms. Sangalli represented a Japanese company in an arbitration, under the ICC Rules, in English. She represented a group of investors banks and investment funds in an arbitration under ICC Rules in English. She represented a major Italian construction company in an ICC arbitration relating to a subcontract for civil works. She represented a major Italian utility company in an ICC arbitration relating to an Electricity Supply General Agreement.

She assisted numerous clients in all kinds of contractual negotiations (M&A, agency, distribution, construction, company organization, international commerce) and in International litigation involving conflict between English, Italian, Polish, and Spanish jurisdictions. She is a speaker in international conferences and she is fluent in English, Polish, Spanish and Italian.
